A kitchen fire this week has forced the closing of one San Francisco’s waterfront destination restaurants.
Greens at Fort Mason, a landmark for both its creative vegetarian cuisine and panoramic views, will be shuttered from now through the month of July for repairs.
“Please check back soon for an official date,” the restaurant’s website says. “We appreciate all the love and support we have been receiving and we cannot wait to serve this community of ours that we hold so deeply in our hearts.”
Greens has been in business since 1979, originally as part of the San Francisco Zen Center.
